→ A got 55%, so B got 45% of total votes.
→ 45% of Total = 18,000
→ Total = 18,000 ÷ 0.45 = 40,000 votes

SOLUTION
→ Let Cost = 100. Marked Price = 140.
→ 20% discount on MP: SP = 140 × 0.8 = 112
→ Profit = 112 − 100 = 12. Profit % = 12%
